Course overview

Information security is today a central issue for most organizations, driven by increased digitalization, stricter legal requirements and a growing threat landscape. This course provides a structured introduction to the field and shows how the ISO 27001 standard can be used to establish systematic and effective information security work.

During the course, participants gain a basic understanding of information security principles, common threats and vulnerabilities, and how risks are identified and managed. The course also provides a review of ISO 27001 – its structure, requirements and practical application in organizations.

After the course, you can:

Explain the basics of information security
Describe different laws and requirements in information security as well as common types of threats and vulnerabilities
Apply policies to identify and manage information security risks
Describe in detail ISO 27001 (structure, content and application)
Understand frameworks and what it takes to build a management system that meets the requirements of ISO 27001

Target Group

The training is aimed at those who need basic knowledge in the field of information security and the application of the standards ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 27002:2022.

No special prior knowledge is required.
