Course overview

The course is for those without previous experience with scripting and PowerShell. In the course, we go through the basics of PowerShell and its different uses as well as third-party tools. We also have a brief review of Active Directory Directory Services and its possibilities for administration via script.

The course is version independent, i.e. it is adapted to the latest version but addresses differences from previous versions. The course mixes theory and practice.

This course is, on some occasions, arranged in collaboration with one of our partners and is then not covered by the start guarantee.

Learn PowerShell and its different uses

IT Technician without previous experience in PowerShell
Contractors who will work in IT
Those who want to increase their knowledge of Windows Server
Those who want to be able to participate in technical calls

Prerequisites

Used to working in Windows interface
Basic knowledge of networks and TCP/IP.
Understanding of the hardware included in a modern PC
Windows Server Basics course or equivalent
The course Windows Server Extension or equivalent

Certification

This course does not have any associated certification. Each participant who completes the course receives a course certificate.

Trainer

This course has several trainers. One of these is Jörgen Strandberg.

Jörgen is an IT consultant with over 40 years of experience in various areas – from hardware to architecture, security and software development. For several years, the focus was on design and security in large IT systems with private and public actors. Jörgen is probably one of the most certified consultants in Sweden with around 70 certifications from Microsoft, VMware, Symantec, HDI, etc.

Today, Jörgen works with developing advanced software for secure integration of external data sources into internal systems. Jörgen likes to share his knowledge and experience and has trained at Informator since 1996.
