Red Hat Services Management and Automation (RH358) is designed for IT professionals with some experience in Linux administration who want to learn more about how to manage and deploy network services included in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. You’ll learn how to manually install, configure, and manage basic settings for these services, and then use Ansible to automate your work in a scalable and repeatable way.
The course is based on Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform 2.4 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.4.

  • Provide critical networking services with software included with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, including DNS with Unbound and BIND9, DHCP and DHCPv6, client-based mail transfer, printing services, file sharing via NFS and SMB protocols, SQL database services with MariaDB, and web services with Apache HTTPD, nginx, Varnish, and HAProxy.
  • Configure advanced networking solutions for server use, including device teaming.
  • Use the Red Hat Ansible Engine to automate manual deployment and configuration tasks covered in the course.
